Our Welder/Fabricator will be confident in all aspects of fabrication and repairs and committed to providing exceptional customer service.
As a key member of our team you will be responsible for:
- Fabricating, assembling and repairing metal products such as structures, frames, plate and sheet assemblies, pipe-work and vessels
- Manual arc welding, oxy acetylene welding, mig welding, tig welding
- Performing manual heating and thermal cutting including mechanical cutting, oxy-acetylene cutting, plasma cutting, air arc gouging
- Interpreting technical drawings and performing engineering measurements and computations
- Maintaining and ensuring safe and correct use of all workshop tools and equipment
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent Welding Trade Certificate.
- Current Drivers Licence.
- Ability to read, interpret and fabricate from workshop drawings.
- Ability to think independently and work as part of a team.
- Demonstrated understanding of NSW Work Health and Safety regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- High level customer service, strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
